Follow the Yellow Brick Road!

We’re off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Mess, because, because, because, because, because of all the wonderful mess she does! Join Krissy and the Mess Around gang we will be showing you how to make exploding rainbows and sensory bottles. We’ll also showcase our fantastic Wizards of Oz themed messy play, arts and crafts activities, which are all included in this resource pack. We hope you have as much fun creating these activities as we did making them for you!

If you would love to make Exploding Rainbows at home, follow the instructions below:

What you will need:  

Tuff Tray or container to play

Small tubs or plastic bowls

Rainbow Food Dye

Bicarbonate Soda

Vinegar

Method:

1.For 4 different colours, add 100 grams of bicarbonate soda to each container.

2. Add food dye to each container.

3. Place your containers on a tuff tray or safe play space.

3. To create the explosion, add vinegar and watch it go!
