Get those wands ready and Join Krissy and the Mess Around Gang on a magical exploration of mess with our Philosopher’s Mess Party. We’re going to show you how to make SLIME! We’ll also showcase the fantastic activities included in this resource mess pack. We hope you have as much fun creating these activities as we did making them for you!

If you would love to make Slime at home, follow the instructions below:

What you will need:  

Tuff Tray or container to play

Bowl and plastic spoon

PVA Glue

Bicarbonate Soda

Contact Lens Solution (Must contain boric acid)

Paint

Method:

  1. Add glue to the bowl.
  2. Add paint to the bowl.
  3.  Mix paint through the glue.
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of bicarbonate soda to the bowl and mix through.
  5. Add a couple of drops of contact lens solution.
  6. Start mixing the slime.
  7. Keep adding contact lens solution a drop at a time until the slime starts to come away from the bowl.
  8. Once the slime isn’t too sticky, get your hands into bowl and start to knead the slime.
  9.  Your slime should now be ready to be played with.
