This theme is so much fun with Diamond disco cloud dough, King Grisly Karaoke Jelly, Bridget’s pot wash and much more to look forward to.
I was looking at what fun we could add to the blog this month and I think what about a ‘trolls inspired headband’. My toddler definitely has the ‘troll hair, don’t care’ look, in fact i am sure we all have ‘troll hair’ days. But these headbands are super easy and lots of fun to make at home and can get you into the ‘trolls’ spirit.
I have added some simple steps of how you can make one at home and you can even take a peek at our video

Make a Trolls Inspired Headband in 5 Simple Steps
Step 1. Cut tulle into 22 inch strips
You can pick up some tulle from eBay at a reasonable price. I selected two colours and cut the tulle into 22 inch strips. After a bit of practise, we have found this to be the perfect length for your trolls inspired headband,
Step 2. Cut between 9-12 pieces of tulle
We have found cutting between 9-12 pieces of tulle is the perfect amount for your headband.
Step 3. Grab a Headband and knot your tulle strip around it
Grab a headband and knot your tulle strip around it. Don’t tie it too tight as you could break your headband.
Step 4. Keep adding more tulle
Create a tulle pattern with different colours. This design has nine pieces of tulle in pink and blue.
Step 5. Gather together your tulle and tie with an extra strip of tulle with a bow
Gather together your tulle and tie with an extra strip of tulle with a bow. And Hey Presto- your headband is finished and ready to rock!
We can’t wait to share these with you in July- we will have lots of other Trolls-inspired crafts to share with you at our messy play events. Can’t wait to see you and get messy!
